Creating spaces for contemplation in a complex world.

Through a contemplative process and reverence for material, my work explores the intersection of space, light, and presence. My art challenges to invite stillness and connection in an ever-changing, fast-paced world.

Art is not a passive object, but an encounter. It can be approached and studied. Its physical presence is inseparable from its meaning: art exists in the world and changes the way we perceive the world. It is an active dialogue between object and viewer.

Introduction

The Purpose

My work is an exploration of sacred space – both physical and metaphorical. I create site-responsive sculptures and objects that invite reflection, presence, and connection, offering moments of stillness within the complexity of contemporary life.

02

Conceptual Framework

The Ideas

Rooted in human universal search for meaning and the quiet power of sacred space, my work considers how material, light, and form can shape our experience of place. I am interested in thresholds – moments of transition that shift our perception and deepen our awareness.

Materials & Process

The Making

I work with a mixture of glass, stone, ceramic, wood, metal, and light. Each material is chosen for inherint qualities and its ability to transform space. My process is intuitive and exacting. It balances control and chance, structure and fluidity, to reveal the essence within the material.

Space and Experience

The Impact

My installations are designed for immersion. They respond to their environment, engaging architecture, natural light, and the movement of the viewer. I aim to create experiences that quiet the mind and open a space for contemplation and connection.

05

Intention

The Why

I build installations that ask nothing but for presence. In a world of constant noise and distraction, my work offers a return to what is essential – presence, awe, and the possibility of connection.

Ongoing Inquiry

The Journey

My practice is an ongoing inquiry into how art can create meaning and foster a sense of the sacred in everyday life. Each piece is a continuation of this search,  and each space an opportunity for transformation.
